![]() ![]() You will take the road test at a Hawaii Driver Licensing Office. Present both to the Hawaii licensing office. Upon completion of the course, you will receive two Certificates of Completion: one for the classroom portion of the course and the other for the behind-the-wheel driving portion of the course. You may take the course at a local public school or at a state-certified private driving school. Note that you shouldn't get any suspensions during this time. Hold instruction permit for at least 180 days.You may not carry more than one passenger younger than 18 years of age who is not a member of your immediate family.The only exception is driving to or from work or school, and only if you have a signed statement from that organization. and 5:00 a.m., you must be supervised by a licensed parent or guardian.
